The increase of ultrasonic nebulizer’s efficiency with the help of acoustic energy concentration
Abstract
Ultrasonic dispersion is recognized as one of the best ways to prepare highly dispersed aerosols that do not harm structure of pulverable substance. In ultrasonic nebulizers piezoelectric resonant dispersants are used, in most cases with ultrasonic concentrators, working at frequencies of 5-20 kHz. But they have several drawbacks. The main results of this work consist in the increase of ultrasonic nebulizer’s efficiency by applying ultrasonic hubs, acoustic lenses, reflectors and breakers and in the attestation of aerosols with the help of microscopic method
