Constantine Bazilo, Vasyl Zaika, Yuliia Bondarenko, Yu. Petrushko

Abstract

A method based on the use of mechanical vibrations of ultrasonic range is one of promising physical methods of influence on the substances to intensify technological processes. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibilities of ultrasound’s using to intensify biotechnological processes. Some processes in biotechnology, such as extraction, suspension, filtration and even preparation of mixtures often take a long time to produce a qualitative product and can be intensified by ultrasound. Investigation of mechanisms of ultrasound’s biological effect, development of new ultrasonic methods and equipment will bring tangible benefits to practical medicine, veterinary medicine, biotechnology and related fields of national economy, processing industry, as well as theoretical and experimental medicine. The purpose of this work is to study the possibilities of ultrasound’s use in pharmaceutics and to develop a mobile device for intensification of biotechnological processes
