The role of using the work breakdown structure in managing the content of construction projects

Abstract

In this paper, the principles of constructing work breakdown structure (WBS) in managing the content of construction projects are considered and proposed. The advantages of using WBS are revealed and IT tools for building WBS, such as: Matchware MindView, RationalPlan are presented. The advantages of using these IT tools are characterized and three steps for building WBS on the basis of construction projects are described.
