Application of situational analysis methods in IT projects management

Abstract

The article discusses the main questions with the situational project management in the field of information technology. Development and implementation of the enterprises in various industries intelligent information technology is an important aspect in the development and improvement that enhances efficiency. The authors analyzed the nature and characteristics of information technology projects. The authors propose application of situational analysis in project management. In the article the authors constructed a chart situations characterized situations, purposes and solutions. After analyzing and considering the chart situations set of solutions that make it possible to achieve their purposes. Developed chart situations provides the flexibility IT project, the possibility of changing some of its components, thereby facilitating interaction between the components of the project. Index macro purpose reach makes it possible to quantify a link between developed multiple solutions and IT objectives of the project and provides a choice of optimal set of solutions
